5AK's Class Poem

In 5AK we have lots of fun books,
There are some thin and some thick.
We met King Arthur and his mates.
We're doing our work,
We're learning a lot.
We have displays on the walls,
Like the weather, our spellings,
And the time line hanging on the ceiling.
We learn lots of things and go out to play.
I walk into the playground,
What do I see?
I see Year 6 playing football,
Year 5 loosing badly.
We do lessons like Maths, History, Technology,
Last but not least Science.
The school has discos every now and then.
5AK is a fun class,
5AK is the best class.
When you see our class logo,
Shout BRAVO!

The Door

Go and open the door.
Maybe there will be beautiful dazzling stars.
Or a big grey elephant waiting at the door.
Go and open the door.
Maybe there will be winding, twinding stairs up to the mystic clouds,
Or even a chick or two.
Go and open the door.
Maybe there will be a Ferrari skidding round the corner,
Or even a big surprise that goes.........
Bang, Pop and Crackle.
Go and open the door.
Maybe there will be a surprised future ahead of you.
Or even an artist who's drawing you.
Go and open the door.
Maybe there will be a second door opening soon, soon, soon.
